General Terms and Conditions
2.1 Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to every offer from Van Hoop Coffeeroasters and to every agreement concluded between Van Hoop Coffeeroasters and the consumer via the webshop or other sales channel. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
2.2 Offer and Agreement
The offer on the website is non-binding. Van Hoop Coffeeroasters reserves the right to change or modify the offer.
An agreement is concluded once the customer places an order and Van Hoop Coffeeroasters confirms it by email.
Van Hoop Coffeeroasters may refuse orders or request additional information if it suspects misuse or payment problems.
2.3 Prices
All prices are in euros, including VAT (if applicable) and excluding shipping costs, unless stated otherwise.
Any shipping costs will be clearly stated during the ordering process.
For shipments outside the Netherlands, import duties, taxes, or levies (such as the Kaffeesteuer in Germany) may apply. These costs are always borne by the customer. Van Hoop Coffeeroasters is not responsible for these.
Obvious errors in prices or descriptions do not bind Van Hoop Coffeeroasters.
2.4 Payment
Payment is made via the offered payment methods.
The order will only be shipped after full payment has been received.
Failure to pay on time may result in termination of the agreement.
2.5 Delivery
Orders are shipped using the most suitable carrier, usually DHL, PostNL, or DPD.
Delivery times are indicative and not binding.
Exceeding delivery times does not entitle you to compensation or termination, unless otherwise reasonably expected.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct delivery address. Additional shipping costs may apply for an incorrect address.
Outside the Netherlands, Van Hoop Coffeeroasters is not liable for delays due to customs or local regulations.
2.6 Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Perishable products such as coffee, tea, and other fresh products are not eligible for returns. These cannot be returned.
Non-perishable products have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The customer must return the product unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

2.7 Complaints and Service
Complaints can be submitted via the contact form on the website. Please state the order number and a clear description.
Van Hoop Coffeeroasters aims to respond substantively within 5 business days.
Disputes that are not resolved through consultation will fall under the competent court in Zwolle, the Netherlands.
2.8 Liability
Van Hoop Coffeeroasters is not liable for damage resulting from the use of products, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
Not liable for: incorrectly entered address, loss or delay in transport, foreign levies, force majeure.
Total liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order.
2.9 Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure such as fire, strikes, government measures, pandemics, supplier delays, or technical failures, delivery may be suspended or the agreement may be terminated without compensation.
2.10 Intellectual Property
All content on the website, including text, photos, logos, and trademarks, is the property of Van Hoop Coffeeroasters or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.

Applicable law
: All agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Zwolle, the Netherlands.
